I read it in one sitting upon its arrival, reveling in the memories of having read it before and the joy it brought. It brought the same joy now as then. I truly wish someone would reprint this book for today's youth. Though the place from which I purchased the book had it marked as "Acceptable" it arrived in nearly mint condition. I couldn't have been happier.

Engrossing read about a girl trying to solve a mystery
I loved this book as a child and unfortunately some of my pages at the end tore so I reordered this book so I could read to my daughter.
One of my favorite stories when I was a kid, bought it to share with my granddaughter..wonderful..
What a great story! Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. As I am a 63 year old, I enjoyed reading of simpler times and of the relationship that developed between the young girl and her great aunt. Beautiful and extremely well written book, definitely a keeper.
This is the book that sparked my love for reading; it was the first real "page turner" I recall having read. I have given copies as gifts to young girls over the years in hopes of encouraging them to read as well.
Enjoyable time on memory lane. I read this book as a child and it made enough of an impression that I have looked for it as an adult. I found it, purchased it and enjoyed it very much.
I am so happy to receive this book! It's exactly like the one I had when I was 10 years old!
